The user can create different nodes which are containing amplitude values of a sound. The spatial organization of these elements are defining the pitch, spatial (panning) position and reverberation parameters for the sound. The user can interact with these components in two levels:
Micro View
Which is sculptural, expressive, continuous, exploratory, "handmade", subjective, temporal, articulative. When combining more nodes, strange polyrithms, temporal divisions can be investigated.
Macro View
Which is musical, quantized, instrument-like, organizing, automata, mechanical, objective, spatial, compositional. The macro view is about investigating the "well tempered musical universe" where traditional musical scales can be reconfigured and changed.
The two views are representing two musical concepts: the infinite, loop-like polyrithms without notes (micro view) and the european quantized (tempered) musical scales (macro view).
