In collaboration with JeSuisBelle we developed and realised a special photo booth system. This project aims to connect the world of fashion with networked realtime new media technologies. The basic idea is that everyone can be a fashion model for a while by trying out different dresses in a fitting room. The construction is making surreal photos of the participants using built-in mirrors and special lighting conditions. On one hand these portraits are posted afterwards to the company's  Pinterest site, on the other hand the photos are assembled into small animated gifs that are sent to the participants.

Realization

The system is built around realtime sharing: a tablet device is used as the UI interface where users can start the photo process. They can also select the desired picture and leave their mail address through this app. A high quality camera takes several pictures according to user interaction, these pictures are assembled into small animations and delivered to Pinterest and the participants mailbox.
